Ontario’s Pathways to Postsecondary Education for Adult Learners

Adult learners in Ontario have options and pathways to postsecondary education that are different from those of youth who are attending a mainstream (publicly funded grades 9-12) secondary school.

Ontario’s Pathways to Postsecondary Education for Adult Learners consists of two documents that explain the four main pathways that are available to adult learners:

The chart and guide will be of particular interest to counsellors, advisors, and instructors working with adult learners by providing information and advice for informed decision making when choosing a route to postsecondary education. See below for various chart formats.

This project is funded by the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development and was developed in partnership with the College Sector Committee for Adult Upgrading (CSC).
