The Ontario CLRI at Baycrest has released a new app that gives PSWs, resident support aides, nurses and students access to role specific resources and tools that are curated specifically for LTC, including materials related to COVID-19 care. Use OurLTCApp to support orientation for new team members or as an on-the-job refresher in any LTC topic or standard of care. Download it for free at clri-ltc.ca/ourltc

Use LIPHA to augment and modernize your curriculum and clinical placements

Do you want to improve the capacity and competency of your students?

If so – we’d like to introduce you to LIPHA – a free virtual learning platform designed by LTC for LTC. The Learning Inter-Professionally Healthcare Accelerator (LIPHA; formerly named ALPHA) is a simulation, coaching and community platform that provides a virtual space with simulated cases and a serious educational game for PSW and Nursing students to practice caring for virtual residents.

We want to support Ontario’s educational institutions to incorporate LIPHA into their curriculum at no cost. Support includes access to technical, implementation, and education support to assist the rollout of LIPHA.
