This two-day training session is intended for new assessors with less than three years of experience with the PLAR for Mature Student process.
This hands-on workshop will provide participants with:
- an overview of PPM 132 PLAR for Mature Students
- extensive PLAR resources
- a review of 9/10 and 11/12 equivalency and challenge process using sample scenarios
- instruction on students from out of province/out of country
- an understanding of Maturity Credits vs. PLAR
Registration for this workshop is limited to two assessors per school board. Waitlisted registrants will be contacted, including additional assessors from a school board, if space becomes available.

- Registration is limited! The content of this training session will be specific and most beneficial to assessors who have less than three years of experience working with PLAR for Mature Students.
- Please bring your charged laptop. We will have power bars at some tables for charging.
- Please note the content is set up for a two-day training session, so we ask you to register for this event only if you are able to attend both days.
- The agenda will be emailed to all registrants prior to the event.
