Message from our Board
Dear members and partners,
CESBA has come to learn that an anonymous e-mail has been sent to some member school boards. In the e-mail contents, the undisclosed author attempts to damage the reputation of CESBA as an organization and the Executive Director specifically.
CESBA as an organization fully supports all federal and provincial equity and inclusion policies and legislation. In addition, CESBA staff and members denounce all forms of racism and support the inclusion of all people in society.
The CESBA Board of Directors fully supports Bernadette Beaupre as Executive Director and views the e-mail communication as an attempt to discredit Bernadette’s outstanding work and damage her well-deserved reputation for supporting learning for all. The motives for the anonymous communication are not completely known, but will not interfere with CESBA’s work to support its members in “Supporting Professionals and Igniting Learning.”
CESBA will seek advice regarding proper next steps and thanks the membership for alerting us to the communication, and for your continued support of our work.
If you have questions, please send them to: firstname.lastname@example.org
The CESBA Board of Directors
