CESBA’s project committees are comprised of active members who work in A&CE sector and who volunteer their time in taking a provincial leadership role. Committees organize events, identify new and needed resources and work with the CESBA Executive Director to highlight procedures and regulations implemented by funding bodies. Committee Chairs work collaboratively with the CESBA office and Board of Directors to provide strategic direction and support to the association.
Conference Planning Committee
Organizes the annual Conference with the CESBA office.
The Adult Credit/PLAR Committee

Literacy & Basic Skills (LBS) Committee
Works with the CESBA Executive Director to implement CESBA’s MAESD business plan. The members examine and address the needs of LBS across the Ontario School Board sector and provide pre-conference training and information to LBS Managers. They contribute to and promote leadership expertise through the development of new training materials for the lbs.cesba.com website and assemble tools for best practices in the field. CESBA receives provincial funding to support school board LBS programs and the LBS Committee provides direction for this effort.
English and French Second Language (ESL/FSL) Committee
Provides direction for CESBA project work funded by the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration, including addressing LINC programs offered by school boards, and organizes two Pre-Conference events annually for coordinators.
The Personal Support Worker (PSW) Committee

They help to ensure the MAESD PSW Education Standards in PSW education are maintained and developed through: conference meetings, resource sharing and collaboration days. They also provide information and support with PSW school board accreditation. They work in partnership with MAESD, EDU and MOHLTC.

International Languages (IL) Committee
Supports administrators who have responsibility for the International Language Elementary Programs and the Classical and International Languages Secondary Credit courses. The committee serves as a point of expertise and information for those new to the IL world and it serves as a place for discussing best practices across the province. The committee usually meets at the annual CESBA Conference, but is often called upon to give advice to CESBA when questions arise about International Languages in Continuing Education.
